Door handles are among the most contagious places in a building. To help against the current spread of COVID-19, Materialise designed and published a hands-free door opener for the public – and we decided to 3D print it for our office on the Sintratec S2!
By using your arm instead of your hands to open doors everyone can actively avoid to further spread germs. The design file is freely available for anyone, making it possible for you to 3D print locally or at factories around the world.
