Robotic
Design Contest
by Sintratec
3D printing has become a great way to bring the most fascinating robotic designs to life – in ways that would not be possible with conventional methods. Do you have a unique idea for a robotic project but no access to industrial 3D printers? Then this Sintratec Design Contest is THE chance for you!

What can you win?
Be creative and convince us
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is ideally suited for precise and durable robotic components. If your project convinces us, you will receive up to a full print volume of our Sintratec S2 in 3D parts, valued at $500 USD! Submit your robotic concept / idea / project and the corresponding design file (STL format) until March 31, 2023 and also get featured on our social media channels!

Our technology
Find out more about SLS
- Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is an industrial 3D printing technology that uses a laser to fuse powder particles into highly accurate plastic objects
- 2 materials available: TPE Elastomer (flexible, rubber-like) and PA12 Nylon (strong, robust)
- High freedom of form, interlocking parts are printable, with no support structures required
- In our experience PA12 is well suited for robotic parts, but you may choose TPE too – if you need both materials, let us know in the message
- Mechanical components eg. latches or gears are printable
- The color of the delivered parts is grey but they can be coated with darker colors
- Depending on material we recommend a minimum wall thickness of 0.4mm (PA12) – 1mm (TPE)
- For more information, download our design guidelines below.
