Shoe
Design Contest
by Sintratec
3D printing has become a great way to bring the most fascinating shoe designs to life – in ways that would not be possible with conventional methods. Do you have a unique idea for footwear but no access to industrial 3D printers? Then this Sintratec Design Contest is the ideal chance for you!
How does it work?

Our technology
- Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is a high-quality 3D printing technology that uses a laser to fuse powder particles into highly accurate plastic objects
- 2 materials available: TPE Elastomer (flexible, rubber-like parts) and PA12 Nylon (strong, robust parts)
- In our experience TPE is well suited for footwear, but you may choose PA12 too – if you require a combination of both materials, write it in the message
- High freedom of form, interlocking parts are printable, no support structures required
- Depending on material we recommend a minimum wall thickness of 0.4mm (PA12) – 1mm (TPE)
